Default Managing Applications

How do I remove cPanel? Until the CSF issue is fixed, I'm repurposing the VPS to testing shoutcast streaming. Note: This is PURELY testing. I want to see what works and what doesn't work in the VPS as I try shoutcast hosting in it. ... Any recommendations for shoutcast, while I'm here?

Just reinstall the container in the Power Panel.

Well... the last few times that I reinstalled, it appeared to come installed with cPanel by default. I'm guessing it was set up that way due to my request of having cPanel installed originally.

So it's why I was asking.

- Go to the Power Panel
- Stop Container
- then go to Maintenance-> Reinstall, click Prepare to Reinstall
- In Data Options select Drop the existing Container contents
and
- in Password Options select Drop the password database. All Container users and groups will be lost.
- fill in your root password
- then click Next

Not quite what I'm referring to, QuietFinn. While we're on that area, I didn't see an option where you could choose to include or not include cPanel. Would it have to be done from Applications? Or...? Even if I did what you'd stated, every time I reinstall, cPanel's there. I just haven't figured out how to selectively choose whenever I reinstall, on whether to include cPanel or not.

I have reinstalled the container several times like I explained, and after reinstallation there is no cPanel, just the Linux OS.

Yes, the difference is that I didn't install cPanel in the Power Panel, but from the command line.

So you must 1st go to Applications in your Power Panel and remove cPanel and then reinstall, that way you will get only the Linux OS.
