MAMP and HostGator versions

I've got MAMP on my local machine. It has:
Apache 2.0.59
PHP 5.2.6
MySQL 5.0.41

I noticed that HostGator uses newer versions:
Apache 2.2.11
PHP 5.2.9
MySQL 5.1.30

Do I need to make any changes to the code on my local machine prior to uploading? Or will the code work with the newer versions?

it should work, unless your code does have some very specific, specially apache related, functions methods.
