How to make a logo?

Currently I`m using a logo that came with my package. I would like to make my own. Can anyone tell me what I need to do this? Or point me to another website that teaches people how to do this.

Rather silly of me, I should have just googled it myself in the beginning, but I was expecting it to be something rather more complicated ... sorry! But thanks very much for your help!

Usually when I make a logo I just use Adobe Illustrator and create some funky imagery. Another way is just use Adobe photoshop, find a good looking font, and use it commercially, or personally.

That actually depends on what type of logo you want to create. If you know a lot on using Adobe software, you will surely get to it.

also, if your trying to edit a current logo, like the one that came with your theme/style, most likely you would use photoshop or illustrator.
however you'll need the raw file, if any that came with the template your trying to edit.
