Lots of questions.

Okay, as of now I am signed up with 1and1. By far the worst mistake I have ever done in the internet world. I have been looking and looking, and Host Gator seems to be top notch in all aspects. I just have a few questions, they are as follows.

1 - I am going to be getting the hatchling shared plan. The space and bandwidth in enough, but if I start getting to much traffic, how easy would it be for me to move up to a dedicated server?
-How long would that take?

2 - I am going to have a podcast, download able and in site flash playable. Is that okay? Question means.. will I get enough bandwidth speed to download at decent speeds? 400-500kbp/s?
- Understand what I mean? Is the internet fast? lol

3 - If I get 1,000-1,500 page views a day will I get suspended for being a server hog?

4 - Also, if I purchase the hatchling for 1 year, and then 6 months in I decide I want to go dedicated, what happened to the money for that other 6 months? Does it roll over and take some of the dedicated price off the first month?

I think that is enough questions for now, I will ask more as I think of them. Sorry if they are hard to make sense of, I am tired, so I get a little sloppy with my writing.

Hg would move your site over so it would be pretty easy, it would take atleast 48hrs for the server to be setup

The server are connected at 100mbps

Depends on what type of site you are going to have, database driven or static pages

quick note: if oneandone registered your domain, first transfer your domain to a new registrar before you cancel your hosting and close your account with them. i just had a client who moved hosting but didn't move the domain, just changed nameservers and they are going to have to wait for the redemption period to expire before they can get it back...
