We have about 8 sites on host gator. Over the years we have had good luck with them so we have gradually moved all our sites here. We have three swamp accounts with a total of 8 sites spread out among those three accounts.
And we have been happy until the last move. About three months ago we moved our main business site to host gator. Our Secure Certificate is here, everything. And august the problems started. NO EMAIL - AKG-925109 And it worked some what And then SLOW SERVER - SGX-277073 and then again NO EMAIL NO EMAIL I MAKE MY MONEY FROM EMAIL MY CUSTOMERS ARE NOT GETTING THIER RECEIPTS I AM NOT GETTING THEIR INFORMATION AND I AM LOSING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. QCW-688113 is the ticket number and they say the IP is blacklisted. 7 years having this business and I have never in my life been on a blacklisted IP. And I am now getting furious. This morning again no emails. And no answer from support. So I come here for I find here when you complain enough then you get some answers. So when is this going to be fixed???? |

Both Jamyn and myself have addressed ticket QCW-688113 . In fact, all of the tickets have already been replied to, at least once, by us. If there are still issues, please reply back to any of the tickets as all of them except QCW-688113 are closed as we have not heard anything from you stating the problems weren't fixed.
However, if your business solely hinges on email working and you've lost that much money, you should consider purchasing a dedicated server account instead of a shared server account. Compared to the thousands of dollars you may have lost, the price of a dedicated server may be a worthwhile investment to consider as you would not have to worry about other users risking getting your IP blacklisted.

Well I have chat transcripts and emails with my complaints stating things are not fixed. I have also called. And it worked for a day or two like last time. And again today I will reply and state ITS NOT WORKING again. You say to me *get a dedicated server* well Richard I pay for email. A dedicated server at this time is too much. I pay for a service and I expect to receive that service, is does not say in your TOS that the IP may get blacklisted and we may not get email. It does not say that if the IP gets blacklisted to just "get a dedicated server" . I wonder what my customers would say if I said to them "well I know your expecting a leather product however customer joe blow is using it all so instead of leather we will give you vinyl." Its not working expect to see the ticket within a few minutes again |

AKG-925109 Ford responded in two hours you did not respond back.
SGX-277073 David Ibarra responded in an hour and a half you did not respond back. I do not believe this bad review is justified since if there is a problem you need to communicate with us. I'm moving this to the support forum. If you have any further problems please pm me with a ticket.

micronack, if you are losing thousands of dollars over the course of a few days how are you unable to afford either a dedicated server? That is the only way to keep off of the blacklists as long as you don't spam.

lots of dollars and you have small package account. awww the cheap and cheerful way of technology.
when will people realize you get what you pay for(in HG terms usually more. but huge gap from small price and a service you need that makes you thousands!). If it makes you alot of money get a better option - dedi box. wanted to reply to this for ages!! lol |
