Default Looking for a good host

Hey everyone,

I am a small time webmaster who has 5 wordpress blogs with original content, i get around 600 unique visitors a day on one, 250-500 on another, and less than 100 on rest.

Anyway i use wordpress and am currently hosted with a certain *colored*host , basically i am having too much downtime due to bad apples on my particular box. I was seeing my server's error logs and other sites on my box throw 20 PHP warnings every second. Anyway enough about that. I am still in money back period, so:

1. Is hostgator able to handle wordpress blogs with the traffic i listed above ?

2. How good is the service ? Is customer treated with respect ?

3. Have legitimate wordpress sites ever had problems of CPU quota exceeded ?

4. Will i regret moving from the *colored*host to hostgator ?

5. How often are backups made ?

Also i will get my latest payment on August 2 or 3, so are the 20% off coupon codes extended ?

What is the policy of refunds in uptime guarantee ? Is it easy to ask for or a gimmick ?

Also is it okay if i use external DNS hosting and point A records to hostgator ?

Thanks for taking time to read and reply

1. It highly depends on the plugins that you will be using.
2. Way better than any other host that I have been with.
3. Same as 1
4. I highly doubt it, but it depends on how vivid the colors of your *colored*host were.
5. Every Week, take a minute or two to read the TOS
6. Lately, coupons are usually available.
7. Donno, didn't have any bad experience during the last 3 yrs. *touches wood*
8. I guess you can

For all your Qs, you should get a fast & OFFICIAL answers from the live chat or by emailing sales @ hostgator dot com
