load issues on the boxes

Hi,

I'm unhappy with my current hosting company since the box that I'm in always seems to be slow.. I have a shared hosting plan and I'm guessing the box that my domain is in is simply overloaded and there is not much I can do to speed my website that is sitting in there.

What happens if I transfer my domain to hostgator and the same thing happens?

What does your current hosting company say the problem is? I would hope you have submitted support tickets. HG does have a money back guarantee so if it is not better during the first month here you can try somewhere else.

everytime i send in a support ticket they'll tell me to send em a traceroute ( which is fine..the issue is with the box, not the connection ). I'll send them the traceroute, they'll say nothing is wrong, everything looks ok. Then suddenly my box will behave well for a couple days, and then the slowness returns..

im tired of the same old bs they are feeding me.
