even if you won't pay via paypal, your CC / bank should convert the amount to fit the currency of your account.

Check your CC issuer/bank or give it a shot by paying, if it works, it works else... you need to find an alternative.

You would pay during the signup process, your bank should convert the funds for you.

I've used my credit cards to charge things in Euros, Swiss Francs, British Pounds, Thai Baht, Eyptian Pounds, Moroccan Dirham, Vietnamese Dong, Icelandic Krona, etc., etc. The charges show up on my credit card bill in dollars. Some credit card companies stick you with a "foreign currency transaction fee," but it's usually a small percentage.

I suggest you not to use Credit Cards as they charge Currency Conversion charges. Instead you can use Virtual Credit Cards like NetSafe from HDFC Bank to pay as there won't be any additional charges..

there are many banks in India providing full auth virtual credit cards, you lucky you are Indian. I see these Indian VCC ads all over the internet.
Paypal is not the best way to pay, huge commissions, ripping off you on rates...
by the way is it true PP limits somehow Indian accounts?
for example you can not send gift payments...+ extra limitations
or rather INDIAN Government limits peoples' options not good

I am an Indian and have a PayPal account. Over the last few months we have had numerous issues and policy changes for Paypal. More frustrating than anything else. Infact in between we stopped accepting payments using Paypal from our clients. The worst policy change was, we can accept the payment but cannot use the funds for anything else; even for making payments for hosting services from HG and we are expected to withdraw all the funds we would have received within 15 days from the date we received it. Truly stupid!!

Using CC would be the best way to pay for HG or you can also see if there is an Indian reseller using HG as the host. He would accept the payment in INR.

yeah... looks like india is not republic or at least democracy
sounds like socialist communist government down there. it is horrible what governments do to sovereign people, all they can do is to regulate, legislate and rule, none of that is problem solving, we need scientists on top but it will never happen, since scientists are not fit for rat race, am I right or what?

I suggest that you use Virtual Credit Cards since they do not have additional charges such as currency conversion charges.

While signing up for a VPS there is no specification for billing.. how much money should i put in the virtual credit card if my VPS is $30 per month?
