A little question.

I signed up over 36 hours ago, buying a domain from Host Gator and purchasing the Baby Plan. The thing is I can't access my domain in any way. I've tried everything on the Getting Started page. I know I have to wait until the DNS is propogated, but shouldn't I still be able to access it using my site's IP or the domain name in place until it's propogated? Is this normal?

I enter my ip with my username and get: The requested URL /~username/ was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

If I use my domain with my username I get a "Cannot find server" message.

I can't log into cpanel or webmail using my IP or domain name either. Any ideas? I'd use support but I don't know if this is normal until things get set-up properly. I'm new to this so any help would be appreciated.

If you can't access your site using: http://iphere/~usernamehere/
then there's something wrong and you should contact HG support, either live support or by e-mail: support@hostgator.com

Thanks, I'll try that then. Not the greatest way to start my Host Gator life out.
