I'm planning on building a website featuring some of illustrations and comics. Sometimes I tend to go a little Rated-R with my art. Needless to say, some of it could be considered pornographic. I've read the TOS, but I'm not clear what the policy on porn art is. It says no illegal content or child porn (My comics won't be child porn I assure, unless the onlooker should fail the Rorschach Test that is lewd comics.), but I'm not sure what the "but not limited to" actually means. I mean it may not say it's not allowed, but it doesn't really say that it is allowed either...

If you are unsure or feel it could be border line, then best to put in a ticket asking HG for their official answer.

As far as I know it should be ok, as adult sites are permitted.
To be sure, just email your most questionable art to sales at hostgator dot com & ask them if content like this is ok. If they give you the green light for that content, then you want have problem with the rest of your art. please do keep in mind that this is a peer support forum & only users with "Gator" prefix on their names are HG employee. EDIT: you can even ask live chat, top right, if that is ok.

As long as you're not breaking any laws with your art (which I assume would be pretty difficult to do) then it is allowed on our hosting.
