I'm uploading all the attachments from my previous phpbb forum onto the forum I just set up (and restored the database and everything)... but there's a little problem. I've got 2400something attachment files, but only 2000 will go into the directory. I can upload more, but it just knocks them off after I do (no matter what FTP client I use). Is there a limit on the number of files in a directory? If so, why, and can I change it?
Oh, and my forum is located at the Happyplace, my site (which is not yet fully online).
