This forum is to be used ONLY for questions regarding site development, coding, and design. This would include such topics as HTML, PHP, MySQL, etc.

Since I will be handling these support forums, I have decided to implement a few changes that will hopefully make my life (and yours) a bit easier in regards to providing and receiving technical support.

Likely you have already noticed that the threads in here are now being prefixed with [Open] or [Closed] status tags. These status tags will make it easy for me to determine at-a-glance which tickets are still in need of attention, and which have already been closed.

You DO NOT need to add these tags when posting a new support thread. Just add a title as you normally would. After a member of the support staff reviews your thread, we will add the [Open] tag to it so that we can quickly identify those issues needing to be addressed.

Additionally, when an issue has been resolved, we will add [Closed] to the title and also close the thread to additional replies. This will ensure that every support question is placed in its own thread.

=========

Before you post a new support thread, please take a moment to scan the titles of the [Closed] threads and see if perhaps your issue has already been previously addressed and solved.

Also, we ask that you consult the HostGator F.A.Q and the HostGator Tutorials prior to starting a new thread, as many of the most common questions can be found within these pages.

If we all adhere to these simple rules, I am certain we will all benefit in the long run.

Regards,

Justin
