Just want to confirm a couple things on your hosting packages

Hi,

Just want to confirm a couple things on your hosting packages. Can a HostGator affiliate purchase hosting using their own affiliate link?

Do all of your shared packages give you all of the features as shown and explained on your site. It's a little confusing as the heading says...
Host unlimited sites on every plan!! (limited time) But when you click on some of the ? question marks it says something different.

Here's an example...
Domains Allowed
Both the queen croc and king croc plans allow for multiple websites to run out of a single account. If you are looking for unlimited domains allowed please check out our Reseller plans.

If you are asking if you would get paid commission for signups by yourself or anyone in your organization through your own affiliate link, the answer is no. If that is not what you meant, please clarify.

It just must not have been updated, you do have the ability to host unlimited sites through the use of addon domains on all plans. Prior to the special, the Baby and Swamp plan only allowed one domain, the Queen and King accounts were limited in the number of domains and the only way to have unlimited domains was to have a reseller account.

All of the domains on the regular hosting account will be accessed and managed through a single cpanel login (this is acceptable if you are managing all of the websites yourself). If you wanted to have each domain have its own cpanel login, you would still need to have a reseller account.

Thanks for your quick response. Much appreciated! As far as the sitebuilder etc. are there any page number restrictions? For example 1and1 has a maximum of 18 pages, then you have to pay a monthly upgrade fee for unlimited use. I realize that there are extra charges or necessary upgrades once you exceed your bandwidth etc. but are there any other extra costs that I should be aware of with HostGator. Also, I'm assuming I can add most templates with HostGator if you can just let me know if there is anything to know about.

I have never used site studio, so I am not certain, but I do not beleive there is a limit on the number of pages. Also, I am not sure if it would work with addon domains. I have never heard of anyone being charged for using site studio when on a regular hosting account, that is what makes me think that the number of pages is unlimited. For a difinitive answer please email sales@hostgator.com.

If you have a reseller account, there is a charge of 2.00 per month for each domain that is using site studio.

Well, It's been about a week and my simple email and questions to sales at HostGator (posted above) have not been answered. I've read alot of great things about HostGator but I'm just wondering if getting a reply on things in general is going to be a problem.

Thanks for the reply. Actually, it's just a couple pre-sales questions. I did not receive a confirmation mail with the ticket number. I emailed the same as per my post above within minutes of the post just to find out a few things that Jay suggested confirming with sales. If someone could answer them in this thread that would be great.

I've had confirmation that you can create any number of pages with SiteBuilder on your account.

About your mail to sales: you should always get a confirmation with a ticket number. Maybe you have a spam filter that has filtered it out?

Thanks for confirming and making me aware on the ticket process. Regarding addon domains, are there any addition costs in using site studio within the same shared hosting package for other domains. I appreciate your help.

Ok I have a question I am wanting to host like 3 sites separate site's with separate domains will it cost me for every domain I add to my account? I am not reselling I just have alot of .coms?
