I just ordered my hosting package and domain name. I tried going to http://www.mydomainname.com/cpanel. FireFox isn't finding it. Does it take 24-48 hours to get to my cpanel?

You should receive your welcome letter in 15-20 minutes. Until DNS has fully propagated (okay, so I'm not sure if that's applicable or not, but I imagine it would be), a process which can take up 72 hours (but usually takes less), you'll need to access your cpanel via the IP address, rather than the domain name.

While DNS propagation isn't completed you can always go to your cPanel using the IP of your server instead of the domainname like this: http://<yourIP>:2082/
