Is it just me

First I would like to say that the service is at Hostgator is mostly excellent. I don't think that there is another company out there that can compete at all, period.

Lately however I have been absolutely cursed with problems, seems never ending, daily tickets and chat sessions...is it just my badluck or is Hostgator going through growing pains?

Anybody has similar experiences?

Do you have any tickets I can take a look at?

Our phone hold time and chat hold times is about the only thing having issues right now. Server uptime has been great and there haven't been any major issues for a while.

We have about 20% of our staff in training right now which should be graduating in the next week. We then have another 10% starting on monday. These two issues will be fixed very very soon. Our sales actually about trippled in last two months leaving chat and phones completely overhwhelmed. Ticket support has stilll been very speedy.

A boat hit some major lines out in the ocean messing up a few continents and causing havoc on the entire internet. Maybe this is what you've noticed in the last few days?

That is correct, 1 cable in Taiwan and 2 in the middle east I beleive. It's affecting the connection over here in Thailand.

I'm glad to see that you are expanding. It took me enough years to find a proper hosting company that I never want to change again!

I'll wait a little longer to see if the issues get ironed out and will post the positive results over here.
