Hello,
I am hosting my sites with you, and are using JSP. I would very much like JavaServer Faces technology to be added to the server, as it is a very powerful addition while at the same time it is fast becoming a standard in J2EE. JavaServer Faces (JSF) is being developed by Sun: http://java.sun.com/j2ee/javaserverfaces/ and can be downloaded here: http://java.sun.com/j2ee/javaserverfaces/download.html The newest and stable release is version 1.1.01, and installation to the server is usually a matter of dropping two .jar files in Tomcats Common (or lib) directories, and then for each context to configure it self through web.xml. I tried installing this on my server by placing the jar files inside WEB-INF/lib/ and then configuring web.xml, but the result being that Tomcat did not longer recognise JSP files. Is there any possibility to get JSF installed on the JSP server, or at least to get some support while installing it in my own context, which might require the context to be restarted a couple of times while testing the configuration of web.xml. .:BoeManE:. |
