Okay guys, I'm building a site right now that will potentially have hundreds of thousands(easily more) of daily visitors. Now I read the big thread regarding joomla permissions. (every directory/subdirectory is set to 755) BUT for my pretty big php.ini file what chmod permissions should I have that set to, I was thinking 644?
Thanks. |

600
But you might want to be more concerned with where to host that kind of traffic as I think it will quickly end up suspended on a shared account with the anticipated traffic... sounds like you will need to be ready to go dedicated quickly.

That'd be 600.
