Can I upload zipped files from the Joomla cpanel with Hostgator? Or do I need to ftp the hundreds of Community Builder files manually?

Forgive me if I am wrong as it has been sometime since I worked with Joomla and Community Builder.
I thought that "CB" was installed using the Joomla module installer. Which usually meant it would upload a compressed file from your desktop. Then it would unpack it on the server, and place everything in the appropriate folders. I remember when I installed it for a friend I did not have to ftp the files individually. |

Yes and no.
The CB files are zipped and are uploaded through the Joomla CPanel. However, my present host won't let me upload the files (even thru joomla) because the CB files are zipped. before switching...I want to make sure I won't encounter this here. |

As far as I know HG has no issues against zipped files being uploaded. I have uploaded them before onto my account, however I am on a dedicated server so some of the rules are slightly different. I would suggest contacting the sales team. They will be able to answer your question, and help you to pick the right package for what you need.
