Only twice I have.

just to let you know, 99.9% uptime allows for 43.2 downtime. I personally believe that today combined with yesterday has exceeded that.

still waiting...

Same here. Hopefully it stays up; it has been up and down for the last hour.

It seems to be back up again, at this second, and back to speed

Lol, and amazingly I get a reply from support just this second with the famous `everything should be fine now` reply

Yeah, I`m getting pissed off with this now. Once I can understand, but now several times today and no one from HG will update us on here.

To make me more annoyed my bill is due to be paid this weekend. So far these last few days have been down right awful.

Working now for me.

I e-mailed support just a few minutes ago; trying to let them know I'm really annoyed with this.

Yeah, ten minutes downtime here, an hour there. Other days it`s really sluggish, this happening every day now. Also sent them a ticket letting them know how I feel.

and to test my patience, the darn snow plow has just piled snow on top of my freshing shovelled path Welcome to Canada!

These kind of replies really are annoying me, making it sound as though nothing is wrong. Quite clearly there are ongoing problems, it would be nice of HG to say something on this.

My forum has gone down, I hope this is related to the Santy problems?

mySQL error: Too many connections
mySQL error code:

If not, then these problems with jetta are becoming a serious one.

Everything should be fine now!!

Correct that, all the sites that I currently host have gone down. Once again. Same thing yesterday and the days before that. I`m getting fed up with consistent downtime. Ten minutes here, an hour there. Lol, and I`m trying to promote a reliable service to my clients. You are making this impossible.

on the same server, with the same problems. Admittedly my sites aren't under heavy use at all now, but having problems connecting to mail is really getting on my nerves. IMAP over SSL stopped working completely (constantly timing out) about 4 days ago now, not happy.

Hostgator, any explanation?

Has anyone got an estimate/record of the downtime in January so far?

Olly

Funny you mention that, my email has just died. Constantly timing out. I really don`t know what to do, but this is concerning me and giving me lots to think about.

Sometimes we can track it but lots of times it spoofed or from multiple IPs that just trace back to computers that have been trojaned (home computers usually). We work with law enforcement when possible but of course they are wanting to have a clear damage amount used to pursue any type of case. Are you still noticing slowness?

Thanks, Ben

Thanks Ben,

Not only the sites being slow or down, but for the last few weeks the pop email has been painfully slow. I can`t even access my email right now. Outlook express is just timing out.

Lol, wish I hadn`t said anything. My sites have also slowed to a crawl again

Actually, it appears to be my forum that is struggling.

We just caught someone killing MySQL and spiking load for everthing and are suspending them, please email me at sales@hostgator.com if you see it again, we will keep close watch the rest of today to make sure we have stopped the problem.

Message me on GatorBen on AIM as well if you see it again,
Thanks, Ben

Will have to be email.

I don`t have AIM and any of those messengers things!! Call me old fashioned!

Ps: My email is still down, or struggling. This has been going on for weeks now, sadly I`m getting kind of used to it
