Default Java Chat?

Has anyone else trie to use java chat from the cpanel on their website? this is the screen i get when i click on the link at the bottom of my contact page

Can anyone tell me what went wrong or how to use this chat?

I have an irc server and free java webchats if ya want to use them...... i dont go much on the javachat in cpanel... tried it ages ago and didn`t like it

Phillip,

I'd highly recommend trying an alternate script: Melange just happened to be one of those features cPanel the cPanel development team added because at the time they couldn't find anything better.

These days theres quite a few better scripts however a lot of them are based on IRC. One of the ones I use and love is pjIRC.

Oddly enough the site currently appears to be down: They should have used Hostgator!

Check back later though, it's a great script.

You're not allowed to use irc chat clients though, right? Or did that change?

I thought it was so that you are not allowed to run irc server.
