issues paying hosting bills with a credit card?

Is it just me, or is it crazy how hard it's getting to pay your hosting bills with a credit card (which is valid and has plenty of room on it)?

I'm talking about the industry in general, not hostgator specifically. This issue has been popping up just about everywhere we use hosting. If it's not the fact that some banks don't like recurring online charges, it's the fact that their algorithms don't like that cluster of charges at the beginning/end of the month when various hosts all try to put a charge through around the same time.

This issue has just started to escalate over the past few months for us. It's hardly the end of the world, I know, but if I'd happen to miss an email or be out of town for a week it could turn into a problem.

Anybody else run into this problem?

Ah well, just ranting. Been a long day.
