Default IP's !!!!
I am running a invision power board there i can see ip numbers of vistors and members I think for all forum softwares is the same ..
The problem is all users using same ip including me 70.85.125.167
Hostgator support said this the ip adress of your server but hows that possible all users using this ip ? i contacted invision power board support and they said maybe your hosting chnaged some settings on their end which changes how the IP addresses are determined.

does anyone having same issue ? please help help help

Its likely an issue with their reslover. There is nothing you can do but send in a ticket about it. I would also send it directly to level three support as level 1 will just send you a bs responce.

I sent them a ticket lever 4 i think the support guy doesnt even get what i mean even with a screenshot

so i told them what he told me is funny i reopened support ticket they should really solve this issue cose its too risky to run a board like that !!! I cant even ban any ip what about if i get a hack attempt ? So hostgator please solve this issue as soon as possible

Check your AWStats in your control panel, are the IPs listed there correct?

I just checked and no ips are not listed correct there either ... How long does it take to respond a support ticket

This issue has been resolved after updating server resolver.

Resolver problems are hard to catch, so you wouldn't expect them to. I found a resolver set wrong on a machine that mostly worked fine for months...
