Installing Cpanel on a vps takes over 24 hours!

you read right - and it is still not working. I had a VPS at another company (burst.net) and man - don't ever go there - they are horrible. I decided to spend the extra coin for a Gator VPS and avoid all the problems... well, it seems on my container, they cannot seem to get cpanel/whm to install after 3 tries.

Here's my question - Why do they refuse to just move me to another box? Instead they are making me wait untill whatever is wrong is ironed out.

I apologize for the wait. I have replied to your ticket in regards to this issue with the cPanel install. CPanel is now installing and should complete without issue after fixing the yum issues. We will have your VPS ready for you soon.

ahh thats cool. YUM eh ?? I didnt know CentOS used YUM, but ok. To the casual reader, GatorREchter here did reset my usage and even billing stats, even after I grubbed for a free bandwidth upgrade (LOL)

HG is still the top host - with some very cool admins.
