On older servers... not on all servers.

Right-- my understanding was that you get it if it's currently on your server, but no new customers will get it. Support is probably the best source to ask.

This forum "have the ability to search", doing a search with "InnoDB" gived 41 results. The more recent ones confirming that InnoDB was no more supported...
Don't you see the "Search" item in the top menu here? |

As mentioned in a couple of posts here and in other threads it is no longer an option but some old servers did have it installed when it was supported and HG did not remove it. Maybe a better response would have been that it is no longer supported or that it is not supported on new accounts.

Hi Rick,
I am quite happy with my response Jonathan N said: "we do not currently support InnoDB format on any of our shared or reseller servers" This is not true and I was merely correcting that

But the OP was asking if it's available in the hosting package. If he/she were to sign up for the hosting package it would not be available to him/her.
So really, for simplicity sake, everyone is right...... |

Although I'm going to take your advice and ask them if it's possible to be placed in one of those share servers you mentioned it for a possible new costumer.

From the other threads on the topic one of the main reasons for not supporting it is because of problems with database corruption.
