how to properly set up IMAP mail in TB, I did it but instead to to get headers only, TB downloads complete mail?
should be headers only, am I right? |

The default is to get all. If you are only getting headers, your setup is incorrect.

I haven't used Thunderbird in a while but a Google search found this link that describes how to fetch headers only.

That is the WORST description of the feature I've ever seen.
I think, what you want is to go to "Offline and Disk Space" settings for the account. Under there is a heading "Disk Space". The first box. "Message larger than ..." is the headers only option. Just check the box and make the KB setting fairly low. That should do it. I don't know of a header specific option. |

...I jusit can't make it (TBird) to work as expected, same account in OE IMAP works OK (get heders only), so not server problem but TBird!
