Imagemagick and GD

I'm trying to install them via Parallels Power Panel.

For Imagemagick, it tells me that the installation failed.

finished with errors: Can not install packages: exec failed:
Transaction Check Error: package gnutls-1.4.1-3.el5_3.5 (which is newer than gnutls-1.4.1-3.el5_2.1) is already installed
Error: /usr/share/vzyum/bin/yum failed, exitcode=1

And I cant find any package for GD.

Any pointers?

Maybe you have ImageMagick already....

Try this in SSH shell:

root@finn3 [~]# convert --version
Version: ImageMagick 6.4.5 2008-11-13 Q16 OpenMP http://www.imagemagick.org
Copyright: Copyright (C) 1999-2008 ImageMagick Studio LLC

Have you tried installing it from rpm? The VPSs aren't provisioned with convert if I remember correctly.

I tried many times the installation as given by the instruction in ImageMagick website but of no avail. I found however an old version of it and it works fine:

yum install ImageMagick

Now I have ImageMagick in my VPS level 1

convert -version
Version: ImageMagick 6.2.8 04/17/08 Q16 file:/usr/share/ImageMagick-6.2.8/doc/index.html
