First off, I'm really impressed with the support over here at Hostgator and has been a major deciding factor for me.
Thanks in advance to anyone or mod who can answer my questions : ) I'm currently hosting my websites and registration with 1and1 hosting. I can't stand their support nor there accents any longer. I swear they're reading from a script whenever I have a problem and often find myself teaching them a thing or two! Ok, enough with that rant! To the questions.. I run one of my sites on Joomla and the rest on Wordpress. On my joomla site for the last few months I've experienced a considerable amount of lag when scrolling up and down throughout pages of my site. Mind you, I haven't added or changed anything to the joomla site. Furthermore, my sites loading speed time has increased considerably and I can't stand it. I understand that Joomla and Wordpress take up a lot of resources to run smoothly. How well does Joomla and Wordpress perform on your hosting? I'm leaning towards the business plan, but have been looking at your vps plans as well. Also, in choosing one of the above mentioned plans, will you transfer all my databases, files and set the dns settings? |

I have sites with other hosts...
And none even come close to Hostgator. HG are head and shoulders above all the rest.. It will be a good move... |
