If you are experiencing email issues of any kind except Blacklist issues, please visit LiveChat for general troubleshooting first (if you wish), or email your issue to support@hostgator.com and your issue will be investigated and escalated accordingly.
When emailing support tickets regarding email issues, if your hosted email account is the one experiencing issues, please email Support from an off-server email address you know you are able to send/receive from. If you do not receive an automated ticket response with your ticket ID, please visit LiveChat and check to make sure your ticket was received. We can look this up for you using the email address you submitted the ticket/email from. (If it does not come through, we cannot assist you, so it's best to verify this.) If you submit a ticket via email and it bounces back, instead, submit the ticket from here: https://tickets.hostgator.com/ Including the following information in an email issue ticket will, without a doubt, expedite the assistance you will receive: 1. Your primary domain 2. The domain(s) with the issue if different than the primary 3. Issue at hand (Cannot send, Cannot receive, cannot send to or receive from specific domain, etc.) 4. When you noticed the issue begin / how long the issue has been occurring 5. Whether you are using webmail or an email client such as Outlook 6. Any bounceback headers you may have received 7. Any errors or error numbers you may have (Error numbers are usually available when using Outlook (0x800ccc0b, for example)) 8. One email address and password we may use to test and troubleshoot. Thank you for taking the time to read! Have a great day! Jess J. HG Support |
