I hve a EXPERIENCE.
I transferred my previous hosting to hostgator on 20 March 2008.
Unfortunately, till now, I cannot see my site yet. I am fully boiled-up with the stupid support teams from Hostgator, asking me numskull questions. I have to wait 5 hours or more for a reply............ This is REALLY ABSURD. After so many reviews from everywhere, I thought I can have a reliable hosting BUT this is WORST than my previous cheapskate hosting. I AM REALLY REGRETTED. Ian Singapore

Ian, per our conversation we found out that this problem is caused by the dns not fully propagated. I've updated your ticket with further details. If you have any other questions, feel free to give me a call at our 866 # or reply to my last email.

Thank you, Josh B (Hostgator Support) for your great assistance in calling me earlier.
 Your FULL explanation was clear, tactful, useful and helpful, for someone like me who is impatient and know NUTS about any server thingy.  .Your kind service make me feel confident to be a Hostgator customer. Once again, THANK YOU, Josh BWell, I have to wait for my domain to be fully propagated here in Singapore soon. HOPEFULLY.....

Now, it's working perfectly...............  Gosh, the uptime/speed was GREAT....! Well, sometimes, Customers do get really pissed-off when there is a lacked of information and long-time waiting. Dns is completely random when it comes to propagation. If I had the magical powers necessary to control it I'd be playing the lottery. =)
