What's the problem with the hummer server???? All of my sites are down.

Here's what support said:

Abstrakt: I'm a reseller and every site that I host is down!??
monica: Working on issue please expect some time to get it resolved
Abstrakt: how much time the sites will be down...are we talking minutes or hours??I also have customers...
monica: it should be up within 10-20 minutes

wow. i'm surprised they gave you a time frame. support is always vague and unresponsive it seems. it wasn't like this the first couple months after i signed up with hostgator.

They are still working on it..

I got word from support that it should be back up within the hour, but I'm not sure they know what it is that's causing the problem yet

it has been over two hours since i reported the server being down. and still nothing. what is the problem and when will this be resolved?

This doesn`t bode well for me. I was seriously considering going into a reseller account from Hostgator, after reading this I`m having second thoughts Good luck guys.

Looks like ram is having failures we are having server chasis swapped shortly.

Brent - thanks for the update. Do you have any kind of time estimates on how long this kind of thing might take if all goes as expected? Our customers will be asking us the same question and your guestimation will likely be better than ours.

Hi - any update on this yet? It's 8:00 am in my country and office hours just started a couple of minutes ago - my customers need email badly.

I don't know if it's all taken care of or not, but I've just gotten some email delivery and was able to access my primary reseller web site and a couple of our clients.....

some sites are back up. while some sites spit out 403 errors for whatever reason. my e-mail is still unavailable.

a status report would be appreciated.

The server was taken offline a few minutes ago and should be up any minutes with new everything but hard drives.

We had to fix a lot of corruption from the bad ram before we did the chasis swap.

Same here, one of my sites came back for a few minutes, but others were down. Now all of them are down. Seems like the chassis change didn't fix the problem. I sure hope it gets going soon.. I'm getting hammered with email asking what's goin on.

I can get to the sites via IP address, and even see some people browsing one of the forums when I use the IP and php string to view the online list. I can't get to anything using the domain name though.

What's the status of this? My clients have already missed half of this working day. It's 12:54 PM here on a busy Friday.

OK...here the Friday just started (it's 8AM)...some of my sites are still down...I'm looking at "angry customers" day.....

I think that this downtime qualifies for money return....but as I sad once...I would rather pay and have my sites up that to get refunds every month and have my sites down....

I asked on IM, and they say that hummer is back up. I still can't get any of my sites to respond.

Ever since this outage on hummer, my 'Service Status' page on the WebHost Manager' is showing 'imap' is still in a 'failed' state. Anyone else on hummer seeing that? Since I don't have an 'imap' client I can't verify if it is really up or down, can someone on hummer determine if it's working on hummer?
