could HG users or staff post their evaluation of how well the "mail gateway" system with rotating IP addresses is dealing with blacklisting of shared-server IPs at AOL and Yahoo?
Recent threads on the forum suggest there has not actually been much improvement ... am I reading that correctly? this is a big problem at my current hosting company, and in evaluating whether to move to HG I need to know if this strategy is working for you.

I'm currently running into this issue with delivery of messages to Yahoo email accounts. If delivery of an email 8 hours after the time it was sent could be considered "working" then yes. I currently have a support ticket open on this issue and I was instructed to contact Yahoo myself. Quoted from support:
"I've been somewhat patiently waiting on Yahoo to fix this issue however, they've yet to do so and seen rather reluctant to offer support. What I suggest is that you fill out the form at the link they sent and see if you can get somewhere as I'm unable to." Not exactly the response I was looking for. I'm still awaiting an acceptable resolution to this problem. Matt |

It's not just yahoo ... apparently any mail to an army.mil account is FUBAR as well. Just one of the wonderful 'perks' of shared hosting. |
