Hi,
I currently have hosting service with a company but somehow the emails sent out under my domain are usually recognized as spam by the recipient's mail servers (yahoo, gmail, my friend's company email, etc..). Sometimes, the emails were received as normal email but they arrived later (after 1 or 2 days ). I use only one email account under my domain and it is for my work. I usually send email to individual. So I couldn't understand why my emails were received as spam. Is it because of the hosting server I'm using (it is a shared server) or there is something wrong with my domain? I would really appreciate if you could help me with this problem. Thanks a lot, Tim. |

Quote:
and spamhaus if one of those that keep track of the IP that send out spam mails. if the mail is marked as spams.. you need to check the IP at spamhaus. and also email header that you send out email. Make sure its comply with rules. mail client can cause problem on this. Basically, if webmail sending email, also result on these. Then its the hosting fault

I'm hosting with addaction.net
I always send mail from my outlook, which is currently setup with POP3 service. It seems the email header was already configured by the server administrator and I don't have access to it. I will call the tech support and ask them about access to the header. However, which rules should I set on the header to assure good my emails will be received as clean ones? Sorry for asking too much but I'm a dummy about web stuff. I'm just trying to setup an email for my work and it has been a real headache. Thanks again for your help. Tim. |

You really should contact technical support for the hosting company for your domain on this issue. It could be due to a variety of issues and may require giving out details that you really shouldn't post in a public forum to determine the cause.

Seems really a server problem:
a- It looks like an open DNS -> http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/dnsrep...=addaction.net b- An other problem here -> http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/mail.c...@addaction.net |
