PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR DONT GET INVOLVED WITH HOSTGATOR. their ticket system is the worst. they may be ood for a small one page website and stuff but if you have more than 50 words in your site then go with a professional hosting service.
and yes i know that someone from hostgator is gonna write back and ask me all this stuff to see if they can correct it or find a way to make hostgator look good, well just go to ticket # SYI-969788. bottom line is, hostgator admitted it was their complete fault. this is the last message i received from hostgator. josh http://support.hostgator.com/themes/...ault/space.gif Posted On: 11 Apr 2006 04:34 PM Corrado, We are sorry to hear this. All issues were caused by server hardware and we do apologize for the problems you have had since the account transfer. If there is anything else that we can do to make this up to you, please let us know. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Thanks, Josh |

We use http://www.kayako.com/ which is the #1 rated ticket system in the world currently.
I'm not exactly sure what happened with your site. But I have full faith in Josh when he said it was hardware that went bad. You have every right to be upset and based on the experience you had we would be the worst host in the world. You were on a server with a total of 3 sites so it was most definitely not overloaded. When dealing with 100,000's of sites it doesn't matter how good you are as a company you will still have people who have a horrible experience as you did. I am sorry we were not able to swap the bad hardware sooner then we did as I'm sure if it wasn't for this you would have been very happy with us. I would be happy to give you a refund for the time you had with us as your bad experience really was bad and your opinion is fully justified. Please email me and I will be happy to do this for you.
