Hostgator Is One Best Company to Deal with, Trust me.

hi,
i wanted to post my review about hostgator way long back, but say either i was busy or didn't wanted to break into any thread or issues being discussed to get ingored or look biased.

anyway my experience with hostgator is as follows :-

1). found them on search engine 3 yrs. back, when i was having a reseller a/c with another company but old one was very expensive.

signed up and a/c with HG and it was setup in few minutes. (thats what everyone expects)

2). my pricing become competitive enough and i gradually had lots of a/c to get in dedicated servers. wow i started to grow out.

3). started learning about Maintaining a server and did asked few stupid question from support in the start, but they were all answered with a smile.

thats something was very sticky for me, got a lot of confidence in them.

4).HG is Very responsive, mostly instant, and doesn't hide facts when you need help.
made me learn what proffessionalism is, infact i know my so called friends who have their box elsewhere and they don't resond to their clients when
their's an issue, cause they just want cheap solutions not stability.
i recommended them HG but those are more interested in saving a few $ to get into nightmares of unmanaged things.

5). few people on Forums become very impatient when a issue arises.
Believe me there's no company who can be without a issue, cause not 100% customers obey your terms, you will get into tech issues, and will always have a reasonable downtime or slow downs at times.

HG does cares for every customer its very sad people just logout of their forum a/c and start posting criticism anonymously, this is so bad, you rely on them, and in case of a problem which indeed last for few mins(if not a very serious one) and you become like a enemy.

6). Brent the hostgator owner is alway keen to listen, resolve and watches mostly all tickets to give performance ratings :-) .

I am so grateful to him, trust me i can give it in writing iam motivated with his efforts, responses, and most important his interest in keeping HG on top. he works hard and keeps his services top notch, we the customers get better service and we earn more cause he know what counts.

If you still think you have a better option out there, go for it, i bet you would be more than happy here when compared overall.

I think people here would think iam being discounted(on my monthly price) for saying good for HG, but its not, i say so cause i know few of guys here are more than smart, they give a damn to anybody.

Only 2 issues which i had in approx 3 yrs. with hostgator.(pretty acceptable)

1). a wrong dedicated box was rebooted on my request, but may be it was confusing having 2 servers with identical names.(i am still not blaming but seriously staff should read the reboot request TWICE).

2). A a/c was suspended when i didn't crossed my billing timeline(5th. day from invoice generation (if your card needs manual cvv2 verification)

Morale of the story is Host your site with hostgator and iam sure you can grow in clients, performance, overall stability in your life, yes you read it right life.

thanks to all the staff who had and will help me.(taking a name of few would certainly be very partial, cause they all work too hard.)

Note:Its my dream to visit HG Hq's and stay there for a while, if its not allowed i would stand infront of office and sing a song (and have a glimpse of Brent sir), for the company who made me live when i was just hopeless.

Just to add that another 6-7 months have passed, and i still say if you want to expand in hosting market Hostgator is the answer.
I've now answers for half dozen dedicated servers here, 3 of mine, 3 of my clients, who just ring me to ask anything about it.
(iam not managing them but showing them way to solve a issue, if any)

had i've not found hostgator I would have not been able to learn and grow in business.
I would not have got courage to get married.(thanks HG)
I would have not grown in number of clients..(thanks HG)
I would have been a crap provider to my local market..(thanks HG)
I would not have recieved so much popularity in Indian hosting market..(thanks HG)

so for me I've learned. learned and worked hard, with HG and become a person who is recognized by official indian govt. sites and those crap providers who keep their servers offline all night long, cause they don't have gators behind them or they save on keeping their crap server/providers hidden during this time.

For those few negative reviews i still says that if you think hostgator staff can dream and complete your incomplete requests you are WRONG, they are good but please provide them complete instructions to fix an issue.

with thats said i still say HOSTGATOR is awesome, outstanding, they are nicest people to deal with for your hosting needs.

Infact iam love with my provider, lets hope this love keeps on growing as i don't have ever wondered of signing up elsewhere.(would consider selling my company if i don't get this much care and professional attitude here)
