There is a search function in the forum, but Hostgator does not have a search function for the web site.
If I want to search hostgator, I have to go to google to do that, and then it pulls up a bunch of junk. Hostgaor should have a search engine on it's website. Wayne Sallee Wayne@WayneSallee.com |

There is, however, a search function for Hostgator's support portal which admittedly isn't the same as a site-wide search, but in some ways, is better for finding specific answers. In any case, you can use Google's advanced search to produce results for all of hostgator.com or any other specified domain.

Hmmm. I guess what's "obvious" varies amongst users. In fact, I have used it on many occasions (not just for this domain) and it seems to work fine for me.

Just specify "site:www.hostgator.com" and you won't get any other subdomains.

![]() BTW, that little green smiley has always been my favorite choice, overall. Whoever designed it should be very mildly internet famous.
