HostGator iPhone and Android App.

Well I was just on the cPanel forums and I was reading a post suggestion for a app to manage cpanel servers and I just had a great idea that would actually help a lot of people.

HostGator should create an app that can help out customers with features like:

. Manage Billing
. Manage Tickets
. Check Account Email
. Potentially Live Chat
. Manage cPanel features like add and remove emails and what not
. Access links to HostGator services like the forums and support pages

Something like this would make Host Gator even more unique from the rest. Plus just having a vps with HostGator, this would make managing it a whole lot easier.

If an app can be released from the ITunes Marketplace and Android Markets, that would cover a majority of users. Potentially even releasing a version for the new Windows 7 Phones on their marketplace as well.

Just thought I would toss the suggestion out there and see what happens!

On a similar note, I would love to see the forum support either Forum Runner (my personal preference) or Tapatalk. I believe both are free for forum operators to install and make it much easier to keep up with posts on mobile devices.

I know am notorious for missing a payment, if we had something with push notifications for an iphone, that could surely help.

Any plans for an Android version?

Can I reference your product on my hosting company website for my customers with a link to your hostcpapp website?

1) Yes, but not in near future. It will take some time.

I've used the cPanel app linked here and it works pretty well. On the same note, what would be the chance that the forum here could add the Forum Runner plugin to make it easier to access Android devices? I believe the plugin is free as they sell the app to make money. I also have Tapatalk but prefer Forum Runner.

There are a lot of cpanel apps been released for both iPhone and Android users; however, I am still confused on what to use. Almost all have the same reviews. I guess the best way is to use one app at a time.

I would really LOVE to see a Hostgator Android app. You would think HG has a few good Java developers.

I've used the cPanel app became a member of here and it operate very well. On the same needs to be, what would be the ability that the area here could add the Area Jogger tool to help you to access Android os running system devices? I believe the tool is free as they supply the app to produce. I also have Tapatalk but like Area Jogger.
