If the only reason Brent has decided HG is getting a helicopter is so he can fly down to the Toronto office or fly someone from the Toronto office to the Houston office then he's not buying it just for fun is he...

I would think a helicopter would be WAY too slow to fly from Houston to Fla, or to Canada... wouldn't they want an airplane or jet for that?

I'd bet that Brent is buying a company (rather than just a copter) not only so he can have a copter himself, but also to hire it out as a second business to let it pay for itself.

I prefer logo two, but it needs a different font to work.

Helicopters are a couple hundred thousand, jets are usually 7 figures.

And helicopters are used to fly those distances quite frequently as some are are up to 175 mph. And quite a few are well over 100 mph. I know people that flew regularly from VA to Texas and to California via helicopter.

The helicopter isn't exactly hostgator's.....

I wanted to see my mom happy, and her dream is to fly helicopters under her own business so I decided to buy a helicopter and give it a shot.

I get to knock out two birds with one stone...

1. my mom gets a chance at her dream
2. I have potential to make a small fortune if it's successful.

Since I'm more of just the investor I let her choose the name, and ultimately the logo. I'm eventually going to learn how to fly it which ads to the cool toy factor. I'm far from a big baller, but will be fun to pretend to be one.

Well thanks for clearing up the confusion. I now think it should be a more feminine logo, maybe a Mom express kindda deal

I think the helicopter logo should also reflect HG somehow, for example: the alligator grabbing a helicopter out of the sky.

I think that he should have posted here letting people here know that he was giving $350 for the logo. Although people here did get a earlier start, than those on the other forum.
