Found and fixed this bug. We'll be pushing out the update quite soon.

We're going to go ahead and list cPanel processes but just make them not killable. Weird stuff happens when you kill your own cPanel processes.

Thanks for these reports!

The bug fixes are being rolled out now on the servers which currently are running the new theme. Thank you very much for pointing those issues out. We have went through all the code again and have yet to find any new issues.

We will update you shortly on when it is rolling out to all shared boxes. Thank you.

I'm still not getting your reasoning here. To use this nice new layout, I have to have ads on them, if I don't want to see them, I have to switch to another theme? This doesn't make sense. So, it's coming down to, I pay money for hosting, I receive ads? Please, explain to me how this works. I'd expect this if I was receiving free hosting.

That's not a nice thing to put ads on paying customers to use a new theme. With as big and good of a company as HostGator is, this isn't one of their best deicisons.

Exactly. I like the new stats, ect.

BUG 1 - when visiting "Account Addons" or "WebsiteBuilder>RequestForms" the title of the content (under the logo) is overlapped by the logo so only the bottom half of the title is displayed. I'm using IE6.

BUG 2 - when visiting "WebsiteBuilder>RequestForms", the [go back] button takes me to the "Account Addons" page instead of index.php

You folks that are complaining about the Partner links need to think about why you would develop an improved service for your clients that they could use for free.

Your hosting price isn't going up.
You don't have to use the new theme.

I guess HG could charge a small monthly fee to anyone that wants to use the new theme with the Partner links removed. HG could label it as a "premium" cPanel theme. Would that make it more acceptable for you?

Gurboura if you are going to chop and edit quotes I would appreciate it if you did it correctly, you have made it look like GatorBrian was aiming his comments at me when it fact they were aimed at you.

Whoops, I forgot to take out the "Hey Keith". My mistake

Sorry. That was not my intention.

Sure, it's not ideal... but they're only icons -- not like they're rotating banners. I agree with Brian's decision. If you want the extra benefits of the theme, then you get the extra icons... and vice versa.

The New HostGator Theme is now on all shared servers. I hope you guys like it. We will be adding more features in the near future and are taking requests from our customers.

Inode count shows 250,000 max in the HG template. Was the max raised recently or is this incorrect?

I feel that if HG made the "Partners" and "HostGator" panels movable, then those who don't want them in-your-face can move them ...

Is that a good compromise?

S.

I like the "Website Traffic" Box, could we maybe have the option of also displaying the traffic for sub domains on there?

Of course :P It only shows my main domain and add on domains, not my sub domains. I was referring to sub domains that are not linked to addon domains. For example, my blog sub domain that you can see in my sig.

Wow.. I freaked out a bit when my CPanel wouldn't work and fired off a PM to one of the admins asking about it.. now 5 or 6 hours later I actually find this thread and realized my bookmark into my CPanel was invalid with the new 'theme'..

My personal opinion, I like this and the more organized layout.

OK - sorry Gorkfu, missed the distinction you made... My HG add-on domains always seem to create subdomains also ...

Toa, you need to go to switch styles, and pick the HG style. This will take you back to our theme. If you have any trouble with this, please feel free to open a ticket with us about this.

Rolandyh, our theme is implamented as a style for the x3 theme in cpanel. So if you changed themes (not styles) make sure you select the x3 theme, and then under change styles (in the x3 theme) you can select the HG style.
