We are creating a HostGator CPanel theme, so we can include some custom features into it without having to work around CPanels theme updates etc..
Here are a couple of features we are thinking about adding in... - inode usage - Application version and modules loaded on the server There are a couple of other features we were brain storming as well... We would like people to give us some recommendations on features we should have in the new theme. |

Have you given some thoughts about the internationalisation of that theme? Will it be only english?

That's actually a really good idea. I'll see what we can do about that. I know we could at least do French and Spanish, if we needed other languages, we would probably have to ask our forum members for some help on the languages.

Oh, we were also thinking about adding a news area, so if we are making changes, clients don't have to always look at the forums... instead they can see news right from CPanel. We would include a link to the forum post etc..

Is it possible to show the CPU or memory usage of an account? make users know if their acounts has the risk of exceeding resource limit.

I agree with coolbyte feature request I would want to know my CPU usage too since Hostgator counts this on shared hosting with an upgrade needed if it is too high.

I also agree with malcarada concerning the coobyte suggestion, it would be quite easily implemented that way. Did you think about giving direct links to support, without having to login two times using the default email address? Maybe just having to type the password... This whole project could be quite interesting to implement, i did it last year...

Shouldn't be too long at all. Perhaps it's being rolled out "soon" along with the shared Windows plans?

This sounds like a nice feature.
I'd also like to be able to see disk usage on a per directory view. Although I suppose I could just write a script to do that, I always prefer when someone else does it for me.

I would really enjoy if you could integrate announcements or maintenance updates about the server and allow RSS or some form of notification when it changes? A nice area to track uptime? Or a way to see what's going on with the server, your current method is not acceptable (write in the forums, then assume everyone reads them)
Thank you |

Abel1337,
Posting off-site hidden images is a no-no around here. And trying to disguise them as smilies makes people think you're just spamming for exposure. |

How about putting something like a small java clock somewhere up top for the current time where the server is located?
Reasoning Example: Your looking at an Error Log, or some other log, the time and date stamp is that of the server, not of our location (for me which is Australia), it would be good to know what time it is where the server is with ease. |

Forgive me if this was asked already, but are you going to have the old features implemented that exist on the old cpanel theme such as the "Internal Server Error Checker". I really like using that utility and it's the only reason I still use the old theme.
