Among my bunch, I've got a P3 system with 128MB RAM & Win2K (oooooold Dell) running the client so the requirements are very lax.

Edit: And if you have dialup you'll need to connect to send in the updates & get new work units but it doesn't need to be online to process AFAIK.

OK, I have this set up for a Mac Pro "Early 2008" workstation, with two four-core Xeons and tons of RAM.

Lots of CPU cycles go unused except when I'm streaming radio shows and doing audio editing, so I'm happy to donate my cycles to the cause.

i put my semprom 3000+ working on this, it's not a great machine but going to be working with no stop till september (i hope wins some host package XD )

any can tell me how to put that sign with my stats?

Here's a guide on how to do something like that. [edit]: An even better (direct) guide is here. So for example:

Team Number: 122600
Your UserName: MyName1234 (example only)

You would us something like:

<IMG> http://folding.extremeoverclocking.c...gimage.php/un=MyName1234/t=122600/</IMG>

(Now, the image tags use [] and not <> around the word IMG; I used the wrong brackets so the forum wouldn't try to read it as an actual IMG link. You would use [ and ] instead of <> (or just follow the instructions from the website above).

the program has been running more than 5 hours, with 5000 steps done, now i search my username in the standford website and in the other website stats and i dont appear (my username it's the same like in the forums)

i'm doing something wrong or i need to wait till finish the 25000 steps?

It doesn't upload your results until you finish a work unit.

And I just added 20 of our new NAS boxes it so we're looking at a bunch more Pentium 3.0ghz, 2.8ghz, and a few celerons added to the cluster.
