HostGator changing shared plans?

I can verify that two Shared accounts I use (one mine, the other I help Admin) are now set to unlimited as best as cPanel can display it: The diskspace shows xxx/999999 GB and the Bandwidth has the xxx/(infinity symbol) beside it.

Other's have confirmed the same settings on their Shared accounts in this thread:

As to comments? Well, you'll hit the CPU and Resource limits before you hit any "unlimited" parameter.

Try using more then 10% of your unlimited BW and they will shut you down faster then you can blink.

We all know that there is no such thing as "Unlimited" Plans. However what I see is that HG is offering us all the bandwidth and space that we require to run our site(s). This is something they can and will honor.

gwyneth: if one used the FF plug-in Smiley Extra as you suggested in a previous post wouldn't that make a hidden link to the image. I would just like to know.
