The HostGator Ate Another One

We transfered to HostGator from Ipower after changes (I wasn't notified before hand of) to my server that caused my shipping script not to function and errors to be generated. I was with them for about 3 years and had numerous problems with their support which included being on hold for hours on end with no one ever answering. Then I made a News Years resolution. NO MORE IPOWER!

I signed up for the "Baby" Plan for 3 years due to their "New Years" Discount. The main site "candlesbythecreek.com", with the help from Jonsey in support (which was answered in 2 or 3 minutes from the time I placed the call), was up & running in a couple hours.

Transferring my other domain name websmoken.net away from Ipower/Tucows (which is not to be confused with the two happy "cheese" cows from California) was a nightmare. It was like they were playing "Keep Away" from Enom and I but after writing Tucow's Compliance Officer, domain was transfered and in Enoms hands. I called HostGator support again this morning, kicking back ready to listen to a lot of classical "hold Music". I'm proud to say the music was interrupted in less than 5 minutes with support answering. Now this site is up & running also.

I am looking forward to a Happier 3 years With HostGator.
