Host Gator Changed My Life

After the nightmare's I've experienced with other hosts out there (globat!!!!) I'd like to thank host gator for helping me get my side businesses back off the ground. The support and range of tools is exactly what I needed. I'm actually upset at all the opportunities I've missed because I couldn't depend on my last host.

One complaint! I'm getting some pretty bad nextwork timeouts every 10 to 30 mins. I noticed when I'm developing the ftp will go down 30-60 seconds at a time. I can live with that. However the same issue comes up when browsing my domains! I realize this is a shared hosting environment, but I was showing a client a demo of his new site and we kept timing out. Embarrassing.

Is this possibly just an issue on my server? I plan on putting a ticket in.
