Host Gator is amazing

I would like to shave pennies off the price at renewal. Most other companies like Godaddy let you use a current special. HostGator seems to have only introductory specials, and depend on their new customers to want the reliability, and awesome customer support they have come to know. Competence and fast support is a great retention tool. It would make me weigh that factor very high over price.

I am using the Drupal Framework for my sites on the Shared Hosting Business plan. Have a little trouble getting the free SSL certificate working. Put in a ticket, and it just gets done right away! It feels like you have concierge service. http://usa2k.com was all set.

Using Drupal for my site http://artist-247.com as an add-on domain. Yesterday I thought the module "subdomain" would be a graet enhancement to the site, but it had special server requirements.

At 7:29 PM I submitted at ticket, and 9:09 PM the settings were working! This was a feature I thought would only be possible on a dedicated account. It was either more simple than I thought, or support is (and it really seems they are) very knowledgeable.

Now if you click on a user link, it will go to [user].artist-247.com and show their public profile as a start of what I can develop with this enhanced ability.

On renewal, should I stay, as seems likely, I am sure I will at least get what I pay for.
