Can people use the $9.94 discount on the baby plan as well or is there a requirement with regards to the duration of their order?

See a few errors in your reviews on different webhosts. For instance, Ipower does not use CPanel as stated....its VDeck 3.0 which is junk!

Yes, but why do it in a forum devoted to HostGator customers, who likely already have gotten whatever discounts they're going to get?

And full of potential customers as I am sure he posts discount coupons etc. A few affiliates seem to use that tactic.

Well, in light of HostGator's own ongoing discounts, it may not be terribly helpful -- except for folks who aren't looking carefully.

If you read carefully there is an actual query in that question and no I am not posting for cheap plugs. A query by the way that nobody that has posted in this thread cared to answer.
Thanks, I will update the specs in the review. However as the features with regards to bandwidth and storage on most of hosts get ever more ridiculous it is probably a bit nonsensical. I will do it just to reflect what they offer.

edit: by the way many forums have staff who answer such questions which is what I was hoping for in this case.

Nonsensical, yes, but if you're going to keep the reviews online, it's always good to try to make them current, and perhaps update them in other ways, such as the latest experiences with a company. Things change, and not always for the better in some cases.

Yes, but I believe the last affiliate page that a new signup has clicked etc, is who they are assigned to. A lot of these affiliates come up with bogus review sites and untrue offers.

I even found one that was listing their HG affiliate link claiming HG gave free domains with their 4.95 plan with unlimited domains

So you wouldn't want to have someone else get your commissions
