I'd like to see brief "position papers" to supplement the TOS--basically three or four paragraphs to describe the currently official positions on what's OK and what's not OK for that specific activity.
Collating this information would save a lot of time, support, misunderstandings, and bad feelings. Separate briefs could be updated more easily and frequently than the TOS, and, if each were issued with a date (and revised), would allow everybody to refer to the same, definitive, page. (Especially useful when 'definitive' isn't.) More from a technical/support perspective, not the policy approach of the TOS, so "discouraged" and "only under some conditions" could be used. The ones we most need, IMO, are:
I'm sure others could add to that list.
