We are thinking about purchasing acehelpdesk.com helpdesk system . Anyone here used them ? . Please do let me know

I can't comment on this help desk software specifically, but I've used both Kayako & Cerberus, and both of these are very good.

Currently HostGator is using Kayako without problems.

It depends on what you need, cPanel has a nice ticket system built in.

I also use the cerberus support software and it works great. The only thing is you are limited to 3 users(3 support staff) on the last edition of cerberus.

I did some searching and found out that acehelpdesk.com is selling its software illegally (that info only comes from one source but I think it's legit)

Apparently you can get acehelpdesk, aka Inverse Flow Helpdesk, aka PMOS Help Desk for FREE because it's now open source.

Try it out, it's free, if you don't like it, go with some of the other suggestions.
