Help with Virtual FTP

Hi,

Would setting up Virtual FTP Access for an add-on domain mean that when the 'add-on domain person' sets up their ftp program, they logon to ftp.add-on.com or would they still have to connect to ftp.mydomain.com.

Unfortunately, mydomain.com is my mom's name and it doesn't look too professional when my friends key in my moms name to upload their stuff!

If this is possible, could someone give me an example of what to set-up and then what connection info is needed to access it from the ftp program.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
