Default Help needed with Site optimization

I've been trying to read, study but trying to get into a regular posting schedule while also working a full time job has me tearing my hair out here.

I need help fixing some crawl errors, I also need help with writing a good site description, selecting appropriate key words. Need somebody who won't charge an arm and a leg to help me and who can be trusted to not use black or gray hat methods to help me optimize my site.

- Site Description: only you know best.
- Keywords: Is not as important as it use to be in the past (according to Google). So long as you cover the most important words in your website you will be okay.

Are you using a CMS at all (such as WordPress or Joomla)? If not, I suggest you do. Makes life easier for the fast pace people.

Google Analytics should help you out aswell.
Check out http://www.google.com/websiteoptimizer aswell.

Happy New Year.

Hi,

I have always used my best 3 keyword phrases in (index) page title, Then again and more in site description, keywords, Then placed them in the body of the index page along with other text, I generally do this in every page for the (page) content, I try not to use same keyword phrases in every page.

As said above, Google and other search engines don't always rely on them but if you can in your site, use different meta title, description, keywords on each page that relates to page content, If your site uses same header for each page, then i would maybe think about leaving the meta description, keywords blank, Search engines generally pick out the text and don't always like duplicated metatags.

Just my 2 cents worth.

All the best
