Default Help with my template

Hello and sorry if i post in the wrong place,

i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get html and css advice.I am preparing my site pages so i can finally change the nameservers and move my site to hostgator.I am a beginner and i can tell that my code is not perfect because when i type content in komposer it flashes. It does work fine in browser preview but that error is annoying and i need to fix it.But i do not know what is wrong.

Basically i need someone to check my template and let me know what's wrong with it.If that's not too much to ask that is.I do not want to post it in public but i could e-mail it to whoever wants to help.

Have a look at this: http://validator.w3.org/#validate_by_uri+with_options

It will tell you whats wrong with your html code

eh, the validator isn't going to help at all.

You can have a totally messed up site that validates.

You can PM me the template and I'll take a quick look... I would highly recommend grabbing "firebug" for FireFox as it's a great tool to troubleshoot your code on the fly. I think it's "getfirebug.com"
